Ever since she was young, Glory had been interested in Baldwin's alchemy. Lotusborne herself helped the young guardian get started with transmuting, and since then Glory has worked to become the best alchemist their clan has to offer. The hunters and scavengers often bring her random items they find, for her to use in her transmuting, for which she is grateful.

Glory met Anders the Longneck Hunter while she was scavenging in the Southern Icefield for ingredients. Anders had been injured in an avalanche and was trying to take shelter in the cave she was exploring. He attempted to attack the guardian, thinking she was there to kill him, but was too weak to stand, let alone defend himself. Glory pitied the hunter and brought him back to the lair with her, nursing him back to health gradually. It wasn't long before she declared Anders her charge, fiercely defending him when clanmates criticized keeping a Longneck among them. Anders considers himself in Glory's debt for saving his life, and views her as the only truly good dragon. Someday, he hopes to be able to protect her as she protects him.

Joyful became a large part of Glory and Anders's life when they found him while searching the Southern Icefield for ingredients. Both agreed they couldn't leave the hatchling to die, and brought him back to the clan. Glory is happily teaching him all there is to know about alchemy and its various facets, and sees him as her adorable little brother. Anders, meanwhile, treats the guardian like a sort of son, and one of the only dragons he doesn't view as a bane on the world.
