Pepon is this clan's newly established matriarch. While her mother had driven the clan to its initial success, those days had long since passed. The clan was weak, starved, and left to its own suffering. While the clan had grown rapidly under Hollow, it did not grow prosperously. There were more dragons than could be looked after.

Eventually, many left. Those that stayed pushed for change. Pepon was hesitant to take the role as matriarch, but was urged by many of the lair's occupants. She had more or less raised every dragon in this clan and had their respect - something Hollow lacked. Taking control of the clan happened without bloodshed or force. It seemed almost welcome. Hollow remains in the clan, though stripped of her title and power.

Pepon has a much different approach to leadership than her mother. She is patient, calculating, and forgiving. While it was a change the clan needed, she cannot help but stress her doubts. She only hopes she can lead this clan in the right direction. The look in her mother's eyes, however, with every decision she makes - it looks cold. Critical. As if waiting for her to fault.
