Familiars:
Shayin is a cold dragon with a fiery temper. She'll turn away anyone or any request she has no interest in, sometimes unreasonably or rudely. She even runs away from her own Guardian. She finds it annoying when she is followed everywhere. She gets even more unhappy when spurned dragons return to bother or harass her... and inevitably get destroyed by an angry Guardian if they go the slightest bit over. Shayin feels that that punishment is too harsh, but her objections get swept away and ignored... annoying poor Shayin, who gets easily annoyed. This cycle repeats often because of Shayin's popularity... as a mage and healer.
Despite being uninterested in battle or healing, Shayin was raised as a capable magic user. She hesitantly joined the lair's mage unit, but doesn't show up much when called. Despite her shirking, most of the lair's dragons that don't even like her that much are relieved when she appears in or after battle. Even though she rages and explodes in annoyance, she assists in battle efficiently and is almost the best healer, rivaling Shiwei. Her cold claws grip the injured, giving blissful relief. She's widely sought after for her magical capabilities... sometimes by enemies, adding onto the cycle from before. It's not Shayin's fault that she's a magnet for trouble... really!

Tch, I'm not as bratty as they make me, you know. I remain aloof because most of the numbskulls that gravitate toward me are annoying. Even that silver idiot is annoying. She doesn't LISTEN. I don't like being alone while being attacked. My magic is for SUPPORT. Sure, I attack. I don't want to have to do it though. Especially while being pressured. I have to spend all that energy dodging and fleeing because the Guardian can't do her job right. Geez, just protect me sometimes, darn it.
After all that I did for her... she still doesn't understand. I didn't heal her brokenness because I wanted protection or a reward. I did it... because I'm a Healer. Healers don't leave dragons broken, ready to die, or dying. Whatever caused her ghastly injuries, I don't care. I'm... I'm just glad that she's fine... Really. Even if she's still not complete. I'm glad she's better... and still by my side...* whispers* Thank you.
