Adaikin Is an odd one, say most folks who have met him. The flashy nocturne is often seen haunting the dark corners of the grand library, sitting in the most inconvinient spots, petting his cat like a storybook villain and rotating between a selection of books, Adaikin studies the physiology and preservation of the dead and funeral rites in ancient societies. Death and the study of it is not a very popular topic among the people of the Grand library after the previous professor teaching it almost let loose a hoarde of undead birds, and so the young nocturne is often persistantly ignored.

Adaikin is mostly amused by the perception others have of him, and plays it up when he needs something or wants to be left alone, but more often he just likes to dissect the theory of creating undead, instead of actual corpses...

The nocturne has a few friends in the clan however, he often joins Calpernia in ogling the spy recruits and gossiping, and sometimes he and Varis spread mayhem in the university.
