Biography

The Fighter

Hatched out of a stolen egg, Andromeda was born into a life of battle in the Arena. She grew up to be a formidable opponent both in size and in brute force. Titled the ______, she was among the most powerful dragon gladiators.

She was hardly happy, though. While battle was all she knew, she thought of herself more as a protector than an attacker - a natural position for a Guardian. She would rarely initiate an attack in the ring, instead preferring to react to her opponent's moves.

One fateful night, she had a chance to escape, and she took it gladly. Using her massive force proactively for the first time in her life, she broke free of her chains and flew away. She flew for days without rest, not daring to stop lest she be captured again, before finally crashing of exhaustion north of the Moonportal. She was found there by a small group of Wildclaws hunting in the area and brought to a lighthouse housing a large clan.

Not too long after, a member of the clan that became her new home caught her eye. Nareena, just a young archer at the time and the granddaughter of the clan's seer, awoke something in Andromeda; a will to protect. Having grown in an environment that didn't encourage a dragon breed's natural habits, she had no idea what was happening to her, but she knew it was meant to be.

In time, she learned of the concept of charges from the other Guardians of the clan. With this new information, Andromeda gathered the courage to approach Nareena with a suggestion: Andromeda was to be her protector and sister in arms.
