Raiya loves to sing. She is one of the younger members of the clan, but she can often be found circling the unpredictable winds over the frozen ocean near their home, humming and composing to herself. Her parents think this the strangest sort of occupation, but Raiya doesn't mind. She is generally friendly, and more likely to welcome a newcomer back to the nest than others of her line.

She knows she has it in her to do great things, and someday Raiya knows she'll go out into the world and find a grand adventure for herself.

Dearest Parents,

I have traveled out of our cold homeland and into the wastelands of plague. It is filled with survivors of disease and not many are welcoming. The weather is stagnant, not crisp and sharp like our own. I miss you both dearly but my heart is in such a race at finally being able to explore the world like I had hoped and dreamed.

I plan to make the most of my travels! More letters are to come!
