*Lovella was named as a sickly hatchling by her dad, Orion, for the loving bond they share. The meaning of her name: Old English for "love, affection."

*She has a duel personality. Yes, I'm dead serious. Her eyes actually change color from Light to Wind upon Lovella's mood. When you first meet Lovella or are her dental patient, you see her intellectual, poetic Light side. When you participate in a fun activity with or talk to Lovella for a while, her eyes change color to Wind green and her daredevil, comedic Windiness takes control. Maybe this is some effect of her hatchlinghood sickness . . .

*Both Lovella and Orion came the Clan of Spinning Compasses on the same terms- both dad and daughter were deathly ill and needed a nearby experienced doctor. Chinook helped both of them to heal; Orion from a major hunting accident where he was injured in his back, shoulder, and both knees while developing cancer, and Lovella from a strange illness after she traditionally consumed her eggshell and began to create her pearl. No one knows exactly what happened to Lovella during her hatchlinghood-long slumber. Thankfully, both dragons are fully recovered now. Except for that duel-personality thing Lovella has . . .

*Her mate is Ziv, who Orion shares a tight bond with. Upon proposal, Ziv gave Lovella her Pearl Ring, which Lovella has never taken off since! Aww!

*She, like Alexandrite, makes sure her hatchlings know their mother loves them dearly. Lovella herself grew up with the absence of her mother, Meredy. Lovella was told by Orion that Meredy also became very sick while her husband and daughter were searching for medical help. It almost completely wiped her memory; it didn't help that Meredy was forgetful in the first place. Rumor (Sapphire's spying) has it that Meredy believes she found her family in another Wind clan. Orion was too brokenhearted that his wife would never know the truth to confront her a second time, after trying to explain who he and Lovella were in a first conversation. He arrived too late to converse with his other two children either; they had left to work for the Lightweaver two days before their dad and sister returned.

*Lovella unfortunately inherited some of her mom's forgetfulness and sometimes cannot follow simple instructions. She is wicked smart academically however, and lucky for her dental patients, is quite focused in dentistry.

*Her best friends are Ziv and Kinmizu, who keep her entertained and coax Lovella's Wind personality. Alexandrite and Chinook were great authority figures and teachers in her life, while Haizea and Orion protect Lovella at all costs. Lovella and Orion still maintain a tight bond unlike many of the clan's dads to their daughters.

*While Orion has given Lovella many embarrassing nicknames over the years (including but not limited to Lovella-bo-bella, Ella Loco, My Widdle Love Monster and simply Lovella, but really really loud), Kinmizu and Ziv usually refer to their friend as Lovie.

*Lovella is the Clan of Spinning Compasses' one and only dentist. Chinook used to do it as well as doctoring, however it became too much for one dragon to handle. Lovella took interest in the trade of dentistry and became his apprentice. Now, she is one of the most highly-ranked dentists in the Windswept Plateau.

*She gets confused -very confused- upon the subject of her hatchlinghood illness. She knows what happened will come to her . . . someday . . .

*She loves cats- big, small, domestic, wild, feral, kittens, cats, animated, real, orange, tabby, calico, black, brown, yellow, white, striped, the list goes on and on!

*Lovie has freakishly long claws. Some call them talons. She tries to clip them, but they grow back so fast! At least they look great in gold paint.

*Her favorite hobby is reading. Especially books mentioning cats, two-legged mammal myths (Chinook says they're called humans), fairy tales, or alternate dimensions. Hmm . . .
