Secretly a better sorceress than Afa and Chellus combined.
Has to keep it quiet though - her brand of alchemy is pretty flamed up. While Chellus is practicing simple chemistry learnt directly from Baldwin himself, and Afa dazzles with magic tricks, Zircon hides in a dim hollow of the clan, trying ancient secrets of something far greater.

Zircon's first real success was the creation of Belial. Using potions brewed from her own blood the mirror was able to alchemise a fully grown dragon, a mirror like herself.
Zircon was shocked and thrilled and determined to do so again, this time stealing blood from one of her clan members while he slept. Phobos' blood went into the cauldron and promptly created Heixeraa. Phobos' blood, however, was corrupted with the gembond from his own skin, causing the newly-created imperial to suffer the same disease.

Zircon felt a bond to the mirror she had created, and suspected Phobos might feel the same to Heixeraa. But not wanting to reveal what she'd done, the witch kept her creations a secret, hidden away like her alchemy.
