Yannik

Yannik, originally an Arcane Dragon but defected to the Flamecaller where he now lives with his own clan in the region of Blacksand Annex. However, whilst he may live in the fiery region now, he is still at heart an Arcane dragon.

In "Clan of Hym", Yannik serves as the clan leader and generally acts as a fatherly figure to every one under his wing, he is kind and trusting. Nothing happens without the leaders knowing, or nothing is suppose to, he keeps this as an iron rule to make sure nothing is a foot in his clan and to keep his clan safe from any outside danger. He is often accompanied by his familiar, the Augite Prorector.

Being a fatherly figure, Yannik tends to welcome into his clan any one who needs it, any stray dragons are welcomed with warmth, kindness and a promise of safe, friendly home where they can live out the rest of their Dragon Lives. Yannik himself is a father and has seen all his hatchlings fly off never to be seen again, leaving feeling rather lonely, however with his clans size growing, it find it hard to feel this way anymore, he's perfectly happy to be the single dragon that he is, as long as he has is family that is his clan.

Promising a safe, welcoming home though does come at a cost so he encourages his fellow clan members to practise trades so that the clan can continue to live and grow the way they do without struggle, he hopes one day his clan will be a striving haven.

Currently he looks after a young dragon named Ruby, a young dragon training to be a solider under Cordelia, soliders who all work under the leader and commander of the forces, Aztec. Yannik dotes on young Ruby as if she was his own daughter, he can often be seen with her when she's not training, he enjoys reading stories to her. He found her abandoned one day and was the youngest Dragon to find her way into the clan, which is why Yannik came to adopt her as his own. Other than looking after Ruby in his free time, Yannik enjoys reading and flower arranging.

The Clan of Hym has been around for a few now and at first started as a very small clan but over time has grown in size. Although dragons do come and go, loyal members still stick around but where there are loyal, there are also disloyal members ... Seems like a plot is afoot within the clan.

Amaterasu, along with he mate and her co-adviser have secretly been plotting to over take this clan for some time now, taking advantage of Yannik's trusting and naive nature. Yannik trusts Amaterasu with his life, a mistake that'll probably back fire in the future. However, because of this trust, Yannik doesn't believe or would never guess that Amaterasu is planning to take the clan, always telling Yannik to trust in her decisions, as such when she brought in her small army/clan she calls the "Bloody Assassins".

Amaterasu hasn't taken action yet, she is smart and witty and is more than aware than Aztec, leader of the Golden Knights and the true knights and guards to the Clan of Hym, has a close eye on her. The oracles tell a tale of betrayal and how the chosen knight will be the one to save the clan in the future, a story told to Aztec by Petunia. Petunia warned that events must unfold to prevent death and destruction to most of the clan members, Mercy also warned of this. For now Aztec has no choice but to was Amaterasu and make sure that no harm comes to the clan members and more importantly, the leader she vowed to give her life for.

The Golden Knights are only small in number but thanks to the Crimson Division, there will soon be more, Crimson knights are knights in training and will one day be promoted to Golden Knights some day, something young Ruby hopes to join.
