KAIHUA
If the flower is to be beautiful,
it must be cultivated.

Kaihua (开花) is the kind, somewhat whimsical armorer of the Day Guard. She's mostly very quiet, but can become loud and cheerful when she's in the presence of friends. She's can't really be described as small, but observers tend to agree that she seems a bit delicate. The imperial is a bit vain, and loves her silks and jewelry.

Kaihua favors heavy armors and weapons. Her usual battle getup is astonishingly heavy, featuring plate armor, a shield, and a mace. Other weapons that she enjoys include hammers, axes, and flails. Kaihua's love for shiny things also applies to weapons and armor, which is why she dedicates most of her time to repairing and polishing anything that's placed under her care in the armory.

The flowery imperial warms up quickly to strangers, and seems to be able to make friends out of anyone! Before long, she'll be gifting you wrapped bags of chocolate and making you cups of tea (blooming tea is her favorite)! She could chatter in your ear all day long about silks, jewels, and flowers, or she could just sit, listen, and act as a shoulder to lean on. It doesn't matter to her, she just likes to have as many friends as possible.

Kaihua is a very thoughtful dragon, and while she is of a compassionate nature, the choice between the life of one and the life of many is very easy for her. Many is greater than one. Because of this certain degree of ruthlessness, Kaihua is considered an excellent strategist. She does what is right and fair, but doesn't let her morals stand in the way of the ultimate goal. Kaihua is especially merciless towards the undead and those that dabble with them. She has begun to trust Altissima, but a shadow of doubt is cast over their friendship whenever Kaihua sees the necromancer in action.
