Après moi, le déluge
after me comes the flood

Deluge blew in on the wings of the fading storms that surrounded the Thundercrack Carnivale. His presence within the clan was only noticed after all the later festivities had ended. When asked who invited him to join and through even the most tormenting of interrogations by Paraka herself, Deluge simply replied "Because the sky carried me here." Unsatisfied with his answer but not able to extract anything else, the wildclaw snarled at him to stay in his place and not cause any trouble. Since then, he has remained as little more than a shadow within the blighted Hold, hardly speaking to anyone unless he is approached or called to tend to any extra duties that Paraka delights in throwing his way. His Lightning flight tendencies are most visible during these periods, where he completes his work in the most dutiful and efficient way possible.

He speaks of a coming flood that will sweep across the Hold, though most snort and pass it off as the mad mutterings of a dragon that got zapped too many times by bolts of lightning. So Deluge waits, patient and content, filled with a silent unseen glee at beholding those that will drown in his coming wake.
