For a reason that no one knows he decided to try to find The Shade and defeat it on his own. He now knows that he was foolish when he was younger and now has to live with the mistakes that he made.

Injured and weak, he somehow found himself in the Southern Icefield. He was only accepted within the Clan because The Wanderer had led him to the lair. He'd stood outside of the lair entrance wondering why another dragon would lead him here when Calixte found him. One look at the dragon and Morfran knew that he wouldn't be accepted into the lair and he would die outside, alone. A moment later he was surprised to be invited in and brought to the healer.

He heard the Clan leader saying something about a wanderer bringing him to the lair but he didn't care. He found somewhere that would take him in.

Because of the wounds that The Shade caused, he continuously bleeds black goo where The Shade touched him. He is always near the healer (Aurore) in case he gets worse. The most unfortunate part is the fact that his pearl has been affected by The Shade as well.
