The Hunter
(and occasional assistant librarian)

Youthful and pragmatic, Gild has quickly settled into his role as one of Shima's favored hunters, in part due to his skill and in part because he frequently helps her son Lot both with his duties as a librarian and as a part-time hunter. He's a real social butterfly, but his aggressive personality has made him hard to get along with - as well as his extremely aggressive defense of Lot, who he has a terribly embarrassing crush on.

He's probably gay, but he's not sure since Lot's the only dragon he's ever been attracted to. He's totally not sure how to act on his crush or what to do with it, and he's also terrified of Lot's mother Shima, the Master of the Hunt and his boss. It's hard for him to maintain his aggressively boisterous personality when he's blushing his stupid face off, after all, and the first crush is the worst crush. To keep his mind off things he often goes out on the hunt, and is quite popular for it.
