Gale's Thoughts: Oracle
I am... uncertain if Oracle can actually see the future.
Some days I'm so sure of it I'd swear on all the Gods that he's the best prophecy teller the world's ever seen (his parents were so convinced of it even when he was young that they named him "Oracle," after all).
Other times he seems like he has as much future sight as a dragon who shan't live to see another day.
Even if he's not blessed with such a powerful gift, however, he certainly looks and acts the part of a prophetic recluse. He's gained somewhat of a reputation among the travelers who pass through for being rude and occasionally downright surly. He goes to Cimmerian Plaza every day for supplies, and he doesn't tone down the spooky vibes he's got going on for anybody. He intrigues most other dragons to the point where the more bold among them aren't afraid to ask him questions, but he mostly just wants to be left alone.
He does indulge in his reputation a little bit, however; he has a small shop set up near his lair for anyone who goes out of their way to ask for their futures from him. Instead of advertising it throughout the clan, however, he has one measly sign set up at the only road that goes into Purlieus Hagalaz. Even if someone shows up, though, there's no guarantee he'll actually come by to serve them. The only dragon he talks to on a daily basis is his wife Eel, and while she's certainly a more outgoing character, she seems more than content with his introverted ways.
He's happy to live his quiet life here in Chiaroscuro's corner of the world, and considering how eccentric some of the other characters that live in his sector of the clan are, I'm just happy he's not a murderer or a master manipulator or something else entirely.
