Amoz is a rogue, a wanderer, an enigma. He planned to return back to his home in dragonhome after passing through the viridian labyrinth, but something kept him with Dagny's clan. he's restless, but there's something about having lush grass beneath his paws instead of crumbling rocks that makes him feel at ease. additionally, his new clan mates speculate that he is taken with the clan's leader, but no one can tell with certainty and he'd never speak to the subject. He speaks only when he feels it is necessary, like standing up for someone or clarifying an important point. His size, his armor, his deep and gravelly voice, and the way that he tends to stand and position himself--like he's always ready to strike--all account for him being very intimidating. This embarrasses him and he makes every conscious effort to combat that (to little effect). His gaze is also quite intense, especially when focused on Dagny. or Melek. now that his leader's mate has returned, his gaze flits nervously between the two of them. and everyone notices. except for Dagny. the others tease him, relentlessly, which really just makes him more embarrassed. The clan sees him as a warrior. He fights like no other, demonstrating the brute strength and stability of a seasoned fighter. Eyphah hypothesizes that he was perhaps a mercenary. Whatever the case is, no one will ever know for sure; Amoz could not be bothered to share the details of his past unless someone of personal import asked him. he has a habit of leaving the clan for indeterminate amounts of time. when he comes back, he brings relics and products of faraway lands for his clan mates. he's been to all eleven realms. his new family is simply glad that he chose to live with them. for all his gruffness, he is an invaluable asset to the clan, both as a merchant and a storyteller...and a friend. |
