“It is hard to trust... but that doesn't mean I don't intend to try.” Once used as a slave, Jebel was renowned for his strength and beauty, often performing feats of strength, much to the pleasure of the royal court he was bound to. All of his children had been sacrificed by the royal court he served, and his anger over their deaths only grew as the months drew on. Having to watch any and all offspring be taken and sent off to be used in ceremonial offerings finally caused Jebel to rebel from his former masters, escaping in the night and taking nothing but the clothes on his back and a few precious trinkets. Jebel now searched for a new clan to seek asylum under, as he was almost certain that his former masters still hunted for him. He found Shi'Kahr by chance, lost and wandering, and was shocked at the unquestioning welcome the clan granted him. Jebel still finds it hard to trust in his safety, that his new clanmates won't someday turn on him should his former masters threaten, but he remains. Unwilling to stay without earning his keep, he helps with odd jobs around the clan, often assisting Romar with building projects or T'Bren if additional guards are needed. ★ ROMAR (a friend & coworker) Jebel is one of the few who can work for Romar without setting off one of the builder's huffy rants; an asset almost as valuable as his considerable strength. ♡ SAKKHET (a friend) She taught him to read once he was settled in the clan, and as he continues to spend much of his time in the library, they've grown close. ♥ FINCH (his boyfriend) Finch visited the clan to assist with building projects alongside Jebel and Romar, and Jebel found himself showing Finch around - and growing quite fond of him, despite initial misgivings over his noble origins. ✒ JEBEL'S ARRIVAL The story of Jebel's flight from slavery and welcome to Shi'Kahr.
