 B I O G R A P H Y
Stardust was born in a Wind clan living far far away from Nature. From young, he shared his love freely with others and the other dragons within the clan showed him the same love. When he became mates with his first love, Lliri, he was delighted. Unfortunately, she fell in battle and their children became victims of an ambush gone wrong. Stardust was devastated and it took him a long time before he could return to his duties. It was only until he met a newcomer to the clan and fell in love with her that he truly got over his grief. Yet, his new mate and their children met a tragic end. Rumors started to spread within the clan and no one dared to approach him. Only his closest family and friends were willing to stand on his side. But Stardust knew that it was time for him to leave. He bid farewell to his loved ones and left. Along his way, Stardust tried again and again to explore intimate relationships, but his efforts ended up with the same results. Slowly, he lost faith in ever having a mate. He stopped seeking out clans and became a loner wandering through the world. Once, he visited his old clan to find the ones who had been close to him. To his dismay, the clan had moved territories and he only found remnants of their existence. He thought that this was how his life was meant to be- alone and separated from the rest of the world. But one day, everything changed for him. He had made a stop in the Viridian Labyrinth, intending to gather a few supplies and then continue to make his way to the Wastelands when he heard a ruckus. A group of beasts had stolen an egg from Einior's nest and was heading in his direction. The female dragon was red-eyed with rage. "Help! Stop them!" She cried out when she spotted Stardust, sweeping a beast out of her way. At first, Stardust hesitated. He was not keen to engage himself with the affairs of the rest of the world. But this female reminded him a little of his past self... "Don't just stand there! Move!" Einior roared at the unmoving male dragon, her urgency to get to her egg overriding her usual gentle personality. ...Or not, Stardust thought as he moved to join the fight. After things were settled, Stardust intended to continue on his journey. But he found himself unable to refuse Einior's invitation to stay in the clan so that she could express her thanks. Somehow, she was different from the other females that he had known. He found himself guilty of wanting to be closer to her, even though she had a mate. He found himself torn between wanting to stay and fearful of being hurt again. In the end, it was Einior who made the decision for him. Her relationship with her mate had been strained after the beast clan managed to get away with one of their eggs and the recent death of their children was the last straw for her. They ended their relationship on amicable terms and divided up their hoards. The only problem came when it came to their lair, but Einior wasn't fond of its location and she decided to leave it to Cera. She turned to Stardust for help to find a new location for her lair. It wasn't long before their relationship started change- for the better or worse, Stardust couldn't say for sure. But he was honest with Einior about what had happened to all his mates. Einior was silent for a long while after he had finished with his tale. She couldn't imagine the pain that he had been through but it made her heart wrench to hear what he had been through. Just as Stardust was starting to become worried, Einior stepped forward and hugged him. "It's alright. I will be there for you. Even if something does happen to me, I wouldn't regret making this decision," she said. Stardust was stunned and overjoyed at her words. Things finally seemed to be going well for him... That was what he thought, until their first clutch of eggs hatched. And then the fate of the clan changed.
