Biography
Vivid is a quiet, soft-spoken dragon. She likes social situations, but only when she's wafting around the edges of the crowd: Vivid likes watching a dazzling limelight but she goes quiet and stiff if that light is turned on her. As a young adult, Vivid was making an awkward, feeble attempt to sell scarves in a public market when Tyria came by the stand. It took all of Vivid's courage to suggest that Tyria put down that cerulean silk and try on the gold one instead — and Tyria had to ask her to speak up a little — but speaking up was the best decision Vivid has ever made.
Now, she manages the clan's wardrobe and helps clanmates pick out outfits and accessories. Despite her shy nature, Vivid has a keen eye for what looks good. Her tattered rainbow cloak is a statement that she fears no fashion choice. New clan members get to watch her come out of her shell as she asks them which styles they like, or holds up different coloured baubles against their hide. She'll even accessorize any familiars who want to match their masters.
When she's not keeping the wardrobe organized or dressing someone up, Vivid likes quiet pursuits. She reads a lot, and visits Reshmi's library often; the two of them have hushed but excited discussions of their favourite stories. Vivid also gathers flowers, feathers, driftwood, and other bits that might make a striking accessory — but always with an escort, since she panics easily in combat.
