Personality

Faladhin is very solemn and calm and takes his responsibilities as the leader to the heart. Can be very bossy if things are not going his way. He tries his best to be fair and just, and thus far has succeeded. Faladhin can be very protective over the lair an all of its inhabitants, even other males.

Faladhin has taken his new clan as his Charge and is utterly devoted to it. He wants to create a safe haven for his clan to thrive and grow in.

Role description

Faladhin is the clan's leader. He makes the decisions and serves as judge if needed. Everything in the clan goes through him.

History

When Faladhin was old enough to leave from his birth nest in the Sea of a Thousand Currents to look for a Charge to call his to protect. He searched and searched, but nothing worthy came across. But then one day he managed to save another young dragon, a Fae, from a hungry sea monster. As a thank you the fae decided to stay with Faladhin. From there an idea about his own clan started forming in the young guardian's mind.

He traveled around the Sea of a Thousand Currents and to his surprise managed to gather a few other dragons under his wing. Some were even far older than him, but they yielded, not wanting to challenge his authority for he was a progenitor - a dragon born without parents. Some even viewed him to having been created by the Tidelord himself.

When his clan started to grow, Faladhin decided that they needed a home. Thus his clan, which did not have a name at the time, challenged another young clan in the Tsunami Flats for territory. Faladhin's clan won and drove the other clan away and everything seemed fine for the time being. Faladhin's clan settled down and the young leader even mated with another dragon to produce three offsprings.

One day around that time period he was hunting with Ijiraq. The two had left the Sea of a Thousand Currents and wandered off to the Shifting Expanse in search for prey. Ijiraq knew a no dragon's land which was free to hunt in. When they had caught some prey, however, they encountered a female guardian dragon who claimed the territory to be hers - and she demanded them to return the prey to her. After some heatedly calm conversation Faladhin and Ijiraq managed to escape with the prey - but that meeting with the female, Varjoemo, wouldn't be the last. Over those encounters Faladhin formed a heated rivalry with the female guardian - so strong that she rarely left his mind.

The titular peace for the clan was short lived. The clan they had drown away came back - with two other Water clans backing them. They told Faladhin that his clan had to leave or there would be war. A peaceful dragon that Faladhin and his comrades were, they decided they would rather leave than waste lives in a pointless war. They gatthered their younglings and left the Sea of a Thousand Currents.

Faladhin's clan looked for another safe haven for some time. They decided that the Sea wasn't their place so they spread out in search for a new home.
And they found it in the Viridian Labyrinth. The clan found a small island in the Everbloom Gardens and decided that, since the island was unpopulated, that this would be their new home. Faladhin started organizing his clan - and even gave it a name to honor their new safe haven.

The clan of Evervale was born.

The clan moved homes many times, but Faladhin's rule remained firm, confident and just - for the most part. At one point the clan was growing so large that they had to move again - but they could not find a new, suitable place to live in the Viridian Labyrinth. Clan's native Nature dragons were getting scarce, so Faladhin made the decision - they would leave the Viritian Labyrinth. They headed south towards the Sunbeam Ruins. The brightness of the place took Faladhin by surprise. There were ancient ruins all around and everything seemed so bright and clear and airy when compared to the green and lush and thick overgrowth of the Labyrinth.

The clan headed for the Hewn City - home of one of their allies, the Clan Helavalkea. They decided to settle there. Faladhin was happy, personally - their new home was much closer to the Shifting Expanse where he could easily go visit his beloved yet distant mate, Varjoemo. The relationship between the two progenitor dragons had grown and deepened from mere rivalry into something more. They couldn't be completely together since they both had responsibilities to their clans, but Faladhin enjoyed the large female's company - and she reflected his feelings. They were considered mates by both of their clans even thought they had a very open relationship.
