______ Jassa and her brother Gard were from the same clan as Dawn, and when she left, they chose to follow. Jassa was a seer, a gift rarely found among non-Water dragons. From the moment her gift was discovered as a young teenager, dragons in her clan put pressure on her. She was consulted on every major decision. And when she couldn’t control her gift, and voluntarily look into the future like Water dragons could, they grew angry with her. She desperately wanted to leave, to find a place where she was valued for more than just her gift, but her clan was the only place she had ever known. She felt guilty for her thoughts, knowing that the clan didn’t mean to harm her, and didn’t realize how much responsibility they put on her shoulders.

______ One day, the siblings Dawn and Nahnie left the clan, along with their young nephew, Nightlurker. They inspired Jassa and Gard to leave the clan. They stumbled upon the very same clan Dawn and Nightlurker joined, a newly made and still unnamed clan with only a few members. Jassa offered her services as an advisor to the clan leaders, Adria and Acacia, but warned them that she could not control her visions. They accepted, and Jassa is now one of the oldest members of the clan, who still advises the new leaders, Ieyu and Kyras.
