Laise is a flyer at heart. She finds it difficult to stay on the ground for long periods of time, but unlike her fellow spirals, she doesn't instead pester the whole lair to their relief. Laise loves feeling the wind, but enough smacks in the face and front legs from awry branches sticking out of nearby trees or narrow misses from large bamboo taught her to at least where gloves and a head-wrap. She also wears a scarf mainly because it looks cool when waving in the wind.

Of course, not to say that Laise isn't tough. She is a very capable battler, and her good friend Gammis (who was briefly her boyfriend) fashioned the birdskull legband for her. She wears it whenever she goes flying, liking how the feathers move with the wind.

She also sports a deepsea bulb on her head, which is often teased about until they quickly regret angering her. The reason for that is mainly because she loves night flying, but does need to see. This made things convenient for her.

Since Laise often finds her self flying quite a long distance, and often very high, she has gained somewhat of a reputation among several clans. In fact, her acrobatics and combat skills has gained the respect of many who see her. One nickname she has gained over time was "Icy Wind" due to her being originally born into the Ice flight, but later moved to the Windswept Plateau for a new life. She can fly just as fast as other wind dragons, however, and is fully immune to the wind chill as well. Nobody in her new clan cares that she is of Ice flight, anyways. This clan is a mix of everything, regardless.
