Being brought into the clan almost immediately after hatching and being separated from his birth clan during a storm, Fenris was found and taken under the wing of his new clan's leader, Shizen. Soon after, he met another young Nocturne named Lupa, having also been separated from her original clan and being taken under the Clan's care. Fenris is a generally sarcastic little wit, and with Lupa, are considered the most sarcastic and snarky dragons in the clan, after Shizen and Jade, the latter having taken in Lupa as an adopted daughter. His attitude often puts him at odds with others, namely the Fae Dragon Levi, Lupa's adoptive father.

Fenris can often be found with Lupa, lending a claw with tending to the plants. He's not as skilled at taking care of plants as his partner, but he tries his hardest. He also spends a lot of time assisting his adoptive mother, Shizen, be it with training, diplomacy(which Fenris has shown quite a knack for), or even menial tasks.

Although he tries to get along with Shizen's guard, Ren, Fenris has a hard time of it, mainly because Ren doesn't seem to make even the slightest effort to be courteous to anyone who isn't Shizen or Acrophos. For a while, Fenris was simply convinced that Ren could do no good, until the now well-known fight that erupted between the volatile Imperial and the Great Schemer, Nobunaga. Fenris had never cared for the devious Nocturne, and seeing him get his just desserts for scheming to remove Fenris' adoptive mother from her role as leader made Fenris come to begrudgingly respect Ren.

Having to help break up the fight with the aid of his adoptive mother, Fenris is one of the few dragons of the Clan to see the full extent of the damage caused by the fight. The wounds Ren and Nobunaga inflicted on one another were severe, and Fenris was more than thankful that the younger dragons didn't get an eyeful of the destruction, and even more grateful that the Fae named Matesprit and the Guardian named Moirail kept the younger dragons away in a safer location. If anything were to have happened to the hatchlings during that fight, Fenris would have probably taken it upon himself to have the offending dragons severely punished for harming innocents.
