Dreamwalker was the first dragon to join Umbra and DarkFire's clan.

He loves to sleep, because it brings him the most wonderful dreams. Sometimes he dreams alone, content to his own world of fantasy, but sometimes, as the others rest, he visits their dreams. He has learned long ago that they don't have the control over their dreams that he has over his, so he doesn't look down on them for their nightmares. Instead, he helps them face their subconscious. Dreamwalker is there to help them feel safe and gain the bravery to stand up, not cowering beneath their fears.



He is a dreamer, yes, but with hatchlings, a mate, and an important job as healer, he has to be more practical than he's used to. His mate is Amythest, but they don't always mate each other. They have decided that it would be harmful to the variety of the clan. He is extremely kind and loving and Amythest loves him for it. However it has also earned him another job:

He is the caretaker of familiars, any familiar that is not already cared for by another in the clan, he cares for. The familiars that have distinctive personalities he has written about here:

Glowing Pocket Mouse (Shining)
Shining was Dreamwalker's first familiar. He loves to cuddle and seems to always get somewhere he's not supposed to be.

Leafy Moth(LeafWing)
She was DarkFire's first familiar. LeafWing still flies above his shoulder often. LeafWing has lots of energy and flits around a lot. She often helped with his pranks. Now that Trick is his familiar, she seems to be bonding with Shining.

Painted Centaur(Jon)
Both Umbra and Amythest deeply mistrust him because they fought him before he joined the clan. Though vary serous, Jon is actually pretty much a nice guy, he is vary annoyed that he is so mistrusted and hopes to earn Umbra and Amythest's trust once more. Jon decided to join the clan because he felt alone at home and when he saw what he thought to be his greatest enemy work together so kindly he knew they weren't as bad as his elders insisted. When he begged for mercy and to join them he thought they would never forgive him for helping hurt Umbra, their obvious leader. He was never happier to be so wrong. Dreamwalker instantly accepted him and then turned out to be his best of friends. Jon is extremely glad he found this clan and wouldn't trade it for the world.

Steam Gyre(Caliga)
Umbra's familiar, Caliga, is vary hawk-like and watches goings-on intensely and fiercely. If anyone tries to hurt Umbra, Caliga will attack them ruthlessly. Caliga also spies for Umbra, she is nearly invisible in sunlight, pairing well with Umbra's ability to hide in darkness.

Marbled Jester(Trick)
Trick, Darkfire's familiar (for now) gets in to tuns of trouble with his clan-mates. Darkfire loves this because he can blame trick for almost any prank he pulls. Trick doesn't mind, ether, because he gets to watch the reactions of pranks he never could have pulled on his own, and that's worth it.

Scaleback(Zan)
Zan is just a vicious animal, never really willing to do anything but attack the hoard. Maharial kept him so as to challenge himself and to get to know his hoard's attacker. When Zan finally grew close to Maharial he finally stopped, and the clan found out that he is just a hoarder who doesn't know anything but battle.
