Clarion
Mystics - Spirit Speaker

Clarion is the only one among the mystics who knows how to heal the soul. He knows how to speak to his other dragons, and even more important, how to listen. He is the one dragons go to when they need to get something off their chest, or when they are just feeling down. He tries not to use magic on his "patients" unless their spirit wounds run too deep. He prefers to advise and talk things through with them. Be there for them if they need anything. However he can look into someone's heart, and sooth over the rough edges and ease the pain.

It's sometimes a difficult job, the burdens of others weigh heavily on his own soul. This mean he had to become an expert at self care. He meditates, and trains others to meditate in the hopes of spreading some peace. He also knows when he's getting too depressed by the troubles of the clan and his favorite treatment is to settle down with his favorite snacks and his most loved book.

Clarion has started to notice a beautiful green skydancer hovering nearby when he is attending clan gatherings. While Clarion is great at speaking with others about their lives, and he gives wonderful advice, he's not so good at talking about himself. He's awkward and clumsy at speaking with females in a less than professional setting. He is highly introverted and would rather spend his down time studying, reading, or meditating so it took him a long time to approach this skydancer lady. He didn't even know her name for a long time.

Eventually she came to him, and introduced herself as Dawsonia. They hit it off right away and it didn't matter to her that Clarion is a little shy and quiet and just a tad obsessed with his work. She finds him a very admirable and intelligent dragon and she thinks he's a wonderful mate. They've been together for a little while now and have had one nest together. Dawsonia is a young Caretaker specializing in plants and flowers, so when she moved into Clarion's study she brought her collection of potted ferns, hanging flowers, and vines with her. They're currently trying to find a way to balance her love of greenery and his love of books so that their space does not become so cluttered that Clarion has difficulty meditating. They have to make sure that their space remains open and calm so that he can maintain his spiritual health.
