Biography

Harmonia Treasurer

399.png 4358.png 6332.png Notable Family: None currently. Mate: Florent Ever since Harmonia was a hatchling, she's known she's not exactly similar to everyone else. It's ended up being alright, though, as it eventually got her a neat position as the clan's treasurer. It's one of the things she loves, after all: collecting and hoarding shiny things. Since she's been treasurer, in fact, the clan has not had one single item misplaced. Some blessings come with curses, though. Harmonia's state hasn't improved, even though her parents hoped that she would grow out of the tics that made her toes click uncontrollably on the lair floor or her eyes wink. Her parents still worry... and that's passed on to Harmonia with ease. Despite many sleepless nights, she's cheerful. Even if she can't see it, she can talk herself into a bright side, and when she can't there is one that doesn't worry. Despite her tendency to get attached to others, she found that perhaps Florent is just as attached to her. She considers him a safe companion, one that's been with her almost as long as she can remember. And hopefully it will be that way for a long time to come.

14059572_350.png Harmonia and Florent The clan's hoard was impeccably organized, both by color and size. Even the most confused dragon could find almost anything they wanted. Except, apparently, some dragons found organization harder than others. "Is it so hard to fold the fabric back the way they found it?" Harmonia muttered as she settled down next to a pile of faded blue blankets. On the other hand, she rarely got to look at these if they were all in order all the time. She carefully pulled the fabric up in her claws. The pile was large, like maybe somedragon was looking for a particular blanket and never minding how the rest were left in complete shambles. "Waiting for something?" Harmonia almost jumped out of her skin, turned around. "Florent!" she whispered as though her tone would calm her pounding heart. "Don't sneak up on me like that."
"I didn't mean to." The creamy Coatl trotted up with a small smile. "You were so engrossed in your folding and foot-tapping that you didn't notice me." He picked up a blanket and tried to fold it. Tried being the operative word. A Coatl’s comparatively stubby claws were probably not meant for the fine dexterity required to fold. It explained a lot about the mess that some lairs were in. But not Harmonia’s. She snatched it back, suddenly shaking her head. "No. I'll do it." Florent watched her in concern as he raised his paws. "Alright, alright." "Thank you, though." Harmonia smiled, a bit shame-faced. "How was your day?" The world outside of her hoard was, of course, not unfamiliar. But when Florent explained it, somehow the events outside seemed manageable. Maybe not so big. "It was a good day.” He paused and looked at her askance, at the pile of blankets on the floor. He shivered, almost like it was involuntary. But he was a Coatl. Coatls in the ice fields were always cold… She sort of knew how that felt… though she’d been here so long it was almost like she was born here. Maybe it was one of the things that drew them together. They didn’t belong here. And yet they completely belonged here. Harmonia picked up a blanket and handed it to him. “You’re cold?” she asked. “Here.” Florent took the blanket. “Aurora tonight.” “Want to watch?” Harmonia couldn’t help a smile. “I know a nice hill not too far from here,” Florent said, wrapping the blanket around his neck carefully. “There are trees we could sit under and if you watch at just the right time, the colors reflect off the glaciers.” She didn’t mean to, but she blinked twice and then winked. She didn’t say anything. But she didn’t have to.
