Found starving and in the food storage, the feisty Guardian has stayed ever since. An incredibly small hatchling when she was first discovered, she has surprised many with her ability to overcome and grow.

Originally from a friendly clan, Nightbird found that Joiera was causing more trouble than her clan could afford to handle. In the hopes that Hizzini's more militaristic style of teaching would help, Joiera was given to this clan.

Since joining Joiera has flourished with Hizzini's clan. She has been given the official duty of nest guard but unofficially is in charge of stealing valuables and secrets from clans and lairs across the land. Permitted to take a percentage of any physical goods she brings back Joiera has taken to decorating herself in finery and jewels when at home. While Joiera had to leave behind Brahms when she left Nightbird's clan, Hizzini granted her a loyal and tenacious familiar to help with the transition. She has named him Haydn, and is never seen without her new shadow.

She has formed a fast friendship with Spirit for his tastes and dry humor, and Songstar for her stories. Joiera is one of the few who can listen to an entire recital without nodding off, and will gladly tell you that the best secrets come from Songstar's stories (though precious few can listen attentively enough to hear them).
