Biography
Nighthunter's time in the Shadow Clan was short-lived. She quickly grew tired of the others poking and prodding her with their tricks and pranks. They would mock her for not playing along with the game, and she would only curl more into her own emotions.
None of the others understood. Her mind was not set upon the fleeting pleasures of fooling her peers, but instead she was more interested in the heavens above her, and wondering how this entire world around her began.
One fateful evening, Nighthunter set off, knowing that she would never return to the Tangled Wood for anything more than walking through. She knew that wandering through the Scarred Wasteland would be the ultimate end of her journey, so she chose to take the long way around, through the territory of the Earthshaker.
The land was hard, and tough against her feet. When the sun came out, high against the blue backdrop of a sky, she felt her feathers quiver in the heat. Her travels were long, but uneventful.
When she finally set foot onto the Starfall Isles, she started having second thoughts.
What if they do not welcome my kind here? I can't turn back now...and this is the only place that I'll ever wish to call my home.
Swallowing the doubt in her mind, she pressed onward.
Soon after, she found a small gathering of nests in what she understood to be the Crystalspine Reaches. A dragon laying in the center of the area lifted his head and looked her up and down. Nighthunter was sure that this would be the time that she would be told to leave.
"...you have a look in your eyes that says you've been lost in the stars for some time, child."
Nighthunter looked closely at him. She was surprised when she saw the deep red gaze of a Plague dragon.
"You're...like me?"
"An outsider? Yes. But the Arcanist cares not who lives in his territory, so long as they share the same curiosity that he did when he first entered the world."
"I have a theory about that." Nighthunter relaxed a little as she sat down next to the Tundra. "What if the stories aren't as accurate as some think that they are? I believe that the Arcanist was born a little differently than what is told..."
The Tundra smiled at Nighthunter's story. "You'll fit in just fine around here, then."
