Bloodstone was born as the second child to Flamesoul and Clay, hatched only minutes after her older sister. She grew up while the clan was still young and small, and she was there to watch it grow, and grow, and grow. And she was, of course, there to watch it all fall apart, to watch her parents and unborn siblings disappear and be replaced by a raging tyrant who wanted nothing but blood and power.

Before Gerathon, she was like a big sister to most of the dragons in the clan. She'd show new dragons around their new home, help them set up their new dens, and help alleviate any worries and anxieties they had about moving in. If anybody needed a friend or support, Bloodstone was often there to offer it. Perhaps it was that closeness she shared with nearly every dragon in the clan that made it hurt so much when it was all torn down.

Forced to watch as her clan fractured and panicked after Gerathon's takeover, Bloodstone immediately leaped into action and played a pivotal role in organizing the rebellion - and also took the role of the spy. Already having been a very curious dragon who didn't mind sneaking around to eavesdrop on hushed conversations, she had an idea of how to melt into shadows and where to pick out hiding places. Being on the small side doesn't hurt either.

Of course, snooping on dragons like Gerathon and her ilk is a dangerous job, but it's a job that has to be done nonetheless, and Bloodstone will do anything to learn what they did with her parents and protect her clan.

Sakura was the initial dragon who volunteered for Bloodstone's role. However, her ability to sneak and snoop is already infamous among the clan, so Gerathon keeps an extremely close eye on her, and wouldn't hesitate to kill her if she even suspected Sakura was using those abilities against her.
Bloodstone was born a tundra, like her mother. However, for reasons not even she can explain, it never quite felt right to her - so one day she left the clan and came back weeks later with feathers instead of fur. She's never explained how it was that she transformed into a skydancer, but she's clearly much happier this way (even if eating insects still feels very odd to her), so nobody has ever questioned her.
