Devianne is the main caretaker of all eggs and hatchlings in the clan. She can often be seen surrounded by a gaggle of hatchlings wherever she walks. If there are no hatchlings, she will hang around the nursery, checking on the parents and their eggs.

Devianne isn’t just a babysitter, though. She has a much more important role in the lives of the hatchlings that are born in the clan as a teacher, teaching them their clan history as well as the general history of Sornieth. She’ll help hatchlings and young dragons understand the world around them, as well as understanding the intricacies of their own clan.

Since Devianne has been in the clan since it’s beginning days, she knows almost all of it’s history and all of it’s previous clan members, and has endeavoured to write down all of the clan’s history; Its past and its present. This makes her perfect for teaching not just the hatchlings of their clan’s history, but also to adult dragons who are newcomers to the clan.
