Biography
MBTI: INTP
Xiabalba is the clan exalter
She guides exalted dragons to the great windsinger
Shes tough and despises chel and emerald
Because they carry out the decision to exalt members of the clan and xibalba thinks the exalted should have stayed in the clan everytime she trys to confront emerald about her opinion
It always ends in a fight
backstory by @kate3628
Xibalba is content where she is in life.
Helping guide exalted dragons to the forces of the Windsinger was comforting to her in a sense. Sure, she may be tough on the outside, having a bit of a brash, ‘don’t cry over spilt milk’ kind of attitude. But, deep down she cares a lot about the dragons being exalted and always hopes that they have a safe voyage. She worries about the exalted dragons when they have to continue their journey without her. She’s afraid that they will somehow meet a horrible fate on the way there, or that once they get there they would be treated badly.
Of course she never outwardly shows this side of her. Chel and Emerald would look down on her if she did. She had to prove them wrong.
After all, her parents had been exalted to the Windsinger when she was young. They should have stayed in the clan. If they had, maybe Xibalba’s mother would still be alive.
It had apparently been storming that night when they had been given the news that they had to leave. The two Coatls had begged to stay, but the leaders wouldn’t listen. They had kissed their hatchlings good-bye and began their journey out into the cold, rainy night. Halfway through their voyage the two dragons were attacked by a flock of Masked Harpies. The creatures had taken out the female dragon with a precise blow to her neck, and were soon surrounding the grieving male. Zephyros had no choice but to flee to the safety of the Windsinger’s forces, leaving his mate’s deceased form behind.
Xibalba had learned all of this when she was older and had been saddened and enraged by the relevance. She still is saddened and enraged by it, to be perfectly honest. But in the end, it’s what influenced her to do the things she is today.
Xibalba is proud of where she is right now. Even if some dragons don’t approve of her and what she believes in; she takes pride in the fact that in her own way, she’s getting through the storm.
