Treasure-keeper

Trinket and his mate Taffeta watch over the clan's hoard of treasure, and keep track of resources going in and out. They're not extremely fastidious about their duties, though, and are often found sleeping or messing around on the job. They were mainly given the task due to an intense love of wealth and shiny, glittering things, though in hindsight that's hardly a qualification. Trinket is far more interested in lounging around trying on jewelry and silks all day long than organizing ledgers, but his performance is just passable enough to keep him from being demoted.

Fun-loving and materialistic to the extreme, he and Taffeta regularly host alcohol-soaked parties celebrating even the smallest of occasions. The more uptight members of the clan are beginning to suspect that they just like an excuse to drink, but Trinket insists he's just passionate about boosting morale.

Though he gives off the impression of frivolity, Trinket is surprisingly knowledgeable about precious metals and gemstones, and the clan's actual jeweler Bijourin consults with him on gem sourcing regularly. Indeed, Trinket is far more intelligent and worldly than he appears-- he simply approaches life with a philosophy of hedonism. Why worry when you can have fun instead?
