Life has always been a contest of strength for Chrys. Born to a warrior mother, she immediately sought to prove herself the best fighter in a new clan. At the time, Clan Ardentia found itself short of claws willing to fight, and took her in for training. Under Sage's instruction, sometimes patient and sometimes exasperated, the hot-headed wildclaw learned much of combat, and first-hand of how dangerous poorly conducted combat could be. Chrys's determination won out in the end, though, and she was able to work to the top. Chrys now lives with Clan Ardentia as one of its strongest claws, often venturing into dangerous areas to retrieve materials and artifacts of interest. Her combative nature hasn't changed much over time - save in matters of life and death, if given the option to fight, Chrys will generally fight. This sometimes gets her into trouble with other members of the clan, and leaves her out of several tactical discussions. One hopes someday she will learn the value of traits other than strength, but for now, this core resilience is serving her well, and will continue to do so for many fights to come. |
