16 Days after our arrival,

Cledwyn has got a damn bug in his teeth, metaphorically but probably literally to, and he's been picking at it and won't stop. He's nervous about where we settled, doesn't like the openness of it, but what are you to expect on the Contagion? We found living soil, that's enough here, and it's set up where we can see the main road but it can't see us, I don't think we could expect anything else.

He's still jumpy about it, keeping Thunder between his claws and tutting over her like a hen with a grudge. She's been whining 'bout it and scuttles under me when she can. But there is something to what he says, to many others around and we're still too few and too weak to put up much of a fight should anyone, or anything, decide to come and take a bite outta' us...
