The clan's leader, Firedancer was exalted after her birth. Whilst Windsinger was taking the next haul of exalted dragons in, the unnamed wind dragon was distracted by a glow from far away, to the point where when she turned around, the pack was gone. Unknowing of what she should do, the small dragon wandered toward the glow and found a small clan of fire dragons, having a celebration around a large bonfire playing the music of their ancestors. Overcome by the rythem of the music, the small dragon wandered in and danced, unnoticed by the small clan. But due to her poor eyesight from hatching hours ago, she tripped and fell into the pit. The large dragons rushed to the fire, startled as they noticed her fall in, the eldest, Cinderglass, put out the fire and was in for a shock. She was unscathed by the fire and looked up with her big mirror eyes. They decided to keep her and raise her as their own. This clan was made up of 4 female dragons. Cinderglass who was a Cotail, and three other pearlcatchers. But after she was raised to adulthood, an angry pack of Mirror dragons came and killed the four dragons, leaving Firedancer be as she was a mirror. She was disgusted with herself for being the same breed as the killers. She couldn't even look at her reflection, so she blinded herself. She wandered the windswept plateau for years, unable to hunt, slowly starving, that is until a friendly serthis decided to help her out and be her guide. She has risen up an decided to have her own clan and find lost hatchlings. With a dimwitted underling, Lowleaf (who she desipes and treats him more like a punching bag, not only because he is incompetent, but also her hatred for mirror dragons.) She went on to make her own little empire.
