Mate: Eillove

Glacier doesn't know much about where he came from, except for the small memories he's able to make out from time to time. He remembers it being cold and dark, and the only company he had for the first days of his life was a strange creature who would only refer to him as Progenitor #12132791. He didn't know the meaning of it or why he was called that, all he could remember though is the kindness this creature had shown him.

Three days came and went, and he began to grow restless. When the sixth day came, he noticed things were different, and the creature was acting strangely which made him begin to feel anxious. He slowly began to ask in a very shaking voice what was wrong in which the creature turned to look at him with such a kind and gentle smile, and when it spoke it did so in such a caring manner... The creature began to explain to him that today was the day he would meat the Deity of The Southern Icefield. "The Southern Icefield's," he said with such wonder and curiosity to his voice. The creature smiled once more and nodded its head before it began to tell him about the land of snow and ice, and the different Subregions and inhabitants that made it up. His eyes lite up with such wonder, as he was not permitted to leave the cave during the time of his birth... He never knew what wonders were outside waiting for him! He grew excited at the thought, but before he could fall into a daydream like state the creature began to spoke once more, this time about the Deity and how he was known to the region as the Icewarden. As the creature continued, the excitement he once felt turned into confusion and somewhat fear... Who was this Icewarden, and why did he create him? He was lost in thought for some time, and forgot all about the creature who cared for him was still there, watching him... Before he knew it he asked what the creature was, and if it was the Icewarden. The creature just snorted and giggled before saying in such a cheerfully playful voice" Silly dragon! I'm not the Icewarden!" again the creature giggled before it continued "I'm called an Ice Sprite" - "What's an Ice Sprite?" he asked with such innocence and confusion. "I'm the deities helper!" it exclaimed. "He calls upon us to look after and care for all progenitor dragons of the land!" it said to him cheerfully. Still confused, he began to open his mouth once more to ask more questions, but before he could the Ice Sprite hushed him and took its leave. Alone and confused by what little it had told him, he laid down placing his head on his paws. Everything from that point in that day became nothing but a blur to him, and the next thing he knew he became extremely groggy and before he knew it he was out cold... When he finally did wake up he remembered nothing else from that day.

Although the Tundra didn't remember much of his past, he could still recall the day he met his arranged mate, Progenitor #12132792. The Ice Sprite explained that it was customary for the Icewarden and Sprites to pick a suitable mate for each progenitor dragon. The custom also involved a ceremony in which each progenitor received a new name from their mate. During the ceremony, Progenitor #12132791 chose the name Eillove for his mate and received the name Glacier in return.

Soon after the two Progenitors were mated, they established a clan in the Icewarden's domain where more dragons began to join them. Eventually, Glacier and his mate began tending to their first nest of hatchlings. All seemed well until the nest hatched and Glacier began to change. He became more distant and spent more time away from the clan on his own. One night, the Ice Sprite returned to visit Glacier. It was a visit that brought great sorrow both to Glacier and his mate. The Sprite explained that it was customary for the first nests of progenitor dragons to serve the deity and dedicate their lives to keeping the icefields safe from other clans. "I would not have come if this was not the way it was meant to be," the Sprite said with a kind but stern tone. Both Glacier and Eillove looked at one another with sadness before the Ice Sprite spoke once more. "I will return in six days when the young are grown," and with that, it was gone...

None of the clanmates knew what happened to Glacier after that horrific day until a year or so later when a gathering party was out forging among the Southern Icefields and they stumbled upon a dragon that was nearly half frozen. He has little to no memory about what happened during that time and says its a blur to him. One thing was for sure he never wished to speak of it and did stay within the clan he once ruled, though nowadays he spends most of his time alone deep within the snow-covered forest looking off in the far distance.
