Samhradh stands for "Summer" in the language of an ancient people named "The Irish".

Samhradh (Sam for short) was the first dragoness to join the newly-created clan. Sam is a friendly and lovely creature ready to help almost anybody. Though officially she has a title of Dutchess, she personally prefers "the Mother" instead. Really, although she doesn't have many children yet, all dragons coming to clan can be sure they'll have help, food, water from her just like from a mother most dragons don't have or remember.

Interesting Fact: She used to have a pet janustrap named Cutie. Her friends suppose Sam is the only one for now who thinks THAT... is cute. Especially, after everybody in her group got bitten. Thank Dragon Gods, now it is a kitty.

Nothing concrete is known about her life before clan too. Greine the Counselor can only tell there is one of a sad and dramatic story hidden behind. Since everybody saw a giant scar on the Mother's neck, healed obviously by the Leader (unlike other dragons he really CAN heal) and covered now by a flower lei, the dragons tend to believe. No one of them wants to remind Sam of something like this, with all due respect.
