Ash is originally from the Sunbeam Ruins, where he met Alder, his closest companion and partner. Together, they founded the Sunspire Guild, a clan of knowledge-seekers in the Light territory. The Guild prospered under their guidance, and soon became known for its scholars and historians.

For years Ash presided as joint clan leader, overseeing the growth and record-keeping of the clan. A devoted researcher, he also spent his days studying history and lore. As the guild grew, however, he felt more keenly that it was time to move on, and leave what he and Alder had started to grow on its own. They rested easy, knowing the Guild was in good hands.

Bidding farewell to the Sunspire Guild, Alder and Ash opened up a new chapter in their story. He felt the call lead him to a new land: to the north, through rushing rivers and lush jungles. He understood where his next journey would bring him.

With the Gladekeeper's blessing, he and Alder took new names and started a new journey in the Viridian Labyrinth. The Labyrinth's unexplored depths held great mysteries, and Ash sought to uncover what he could. Having always been fascinated by history, he was particularly intrigued by the overgrown ruins found in the Wilds.

He and Alder ventured forth into the Viridian Labyrinth. Over time, Ash's appearance changed to better fit his new environment: his snowy scales became the color of moonlit night, his wings fluttering like whispering mist. Like the ash tree, he realized, symbolizing renewal. With a new name and a new appearance, Ash strides ever onward on his journey.

Lost in the forest, I broke off a dark twig
and lifted its whisper to my thirsty lips:
