Biography
Very rarely does Magnus sleep. He is a paranoid young dragon, both blessed and plagued by his role as leader of a bolstering clan of unruly and unstoppable dragons. A select few were part of the clan before Magnus was full grown, but the clan's past leader saw something in him from the moment he was found, instantly deciding that he would become heir. This became the base of Magnus' wanderlust, as Errant would often take him on glorious travels to far away lands. Magnus doesn't travel much anymore, but sends his hatchlings and clan members to go in his stead.
On the nights where the shadows leak from his eyes and the only light that can be seen is from the moon, Magnus flies off the cliff side and glides over the ocean, letting the salty sea air push him where it pleases. Sometimes Magnus will come across pieces of rubble floating in the ocean, and will dive into the chill to find metal giants snuffed and filled with ancient texts. Crowley helps him decipher these things, communicating with Magnus through gestures and sign, but Magnus has a feeling Crowley knows more than he is letting on.
During one of his late-night trips, Magnus was ambushed by monsters hidden in the water. He was badly damaged on his tail and back legs but was only able to escape by flying waywardly to shore, where the crash-landing badly sprained his front legs. It was by a stroke of good luck that Exodus (an imp now gone to serve the Lightweaver) found him while fishing later the same morning.
He is fully recovered, but he can only fly short distances for a limited time before his legs and tail begin to give out.
