Taliesin roamed for a while before discovering a clan run by a female Wildclaw at a den created by a Fae and Tundra. He was intrigued and hung around, curious about the other Wildclaws and their hierarchy as well as their odd denmates.

It almost didn't make sense to him that the hot-headed forest-green Wildclaw wasn't in charge. After all, he was the one who challenged the most dragons, the one who won the most battles. And yet every time he'd challenge the leader, the other Wildclaws would roll their eyes as if he was being impudent. Despite his curiosity, Taliesin he never watched a battle, assuming he knew the outcome.

Until he was put on the same battle team as the leader. Then he was in awe of her fighting talent. He prided himself on his own ability to battle and felt that she was even better than himself. Slowly, his admiration turned into something a little more towards the leader, Etomime, and he started coming up with excuses to hang around. Eventually, he settled upon helping training the youngsters who dropped by before going on to Shadowbinder.

Etomime has yet to look twice in Taliesin's direction, but he doesn't mind that. If anything, it just gives him another reason to fight. Both to win her affection, and to just be on the same battle team as her.
