Unlike his Nocturne brethren who prefer the bleakness of night when oppose to the stinging rays of the sun, Hawaii has developed a special preference to the golden rays of light; how he has made such a drastic adaption is a bit unsure, but it isn't anything life threatening to the normally nocturnal siding dragon. Instead, Hawaii enjoys the light mainly for the reason so that the Nocturne can find bodies of water all the more easier. Hawaii was birthed in the Starfall Isles, where his current clan resides, and is the offspring of a certain flighty, over excited female messenger named HipHop. He takes greatly after his mother in personality and some traits of his appearance. When mother and son are together, their excited nature seems to spread from each other and only proceeding in riling up the pair of relatives. Though Hawaii did not use this energy or excitement to join his mother in the act of delivering messages. While Hawaii himself does not indulge in snacking on any aquatic prey, he still uses the excuse to join a foraging group to go into the water. Hawaii's affection for being submerged in the waters is always apparent, and leaves some a little concerned that at some points when he enters the welcoming embrace of the tides, he won't come back on day; but in the end, all worry is washed away when a certain Nocturne comes back, jovial as ever, with fish and other sea life for to bring back for their stash of food. When he is not using any excuse to dive himself headlong into the waters, Hawaii is rather adept in knowledge. While he primarily directs his attention to possible mysteries of water, he also gathers any information he has about foreign plant life to the clan. He takes a great interest in finding anything he is unaware of; for instance, when one day he discovered a type of fruit that, after getting through the tough outer shell, was sweet and rather rewarding on the inside.. and is now one of his favorite things to snack on when studying. |
