Haro's been a bit of a mystery ever since he appeared in Aceraceae's territory one frigid winter night. he wouldn't say where he was from, but he asked politely enough to stay, so the clan obliged.

Haro is especially sensitive to spiritual energy and spends most of his time out in Aceraceae territory, tracking and mapping ley lines of energy, and making sure energy levels are healthily distributed in balanced amounts. he was taken under Eclypse's wing in this work when he first joined the clan, but he caught on very quickly and has since been working on his own. such energy flows visibly over his own hide, rippling and twisting with his emotions. though, Haro tends to feel most things mildly, so these personal "ley lines" are generally slow-moving.

Haro spends very little time with his clanmates, preferring to work out in the territory at night, then slip inconspicuously back into the lair when the sun rises, curling up to nest for daylight hours. nocturnal clanmates who have caught a glimpse of Haro at night note that his gaze often strays skywards, possibly in an attempt to glean any answers the cosmos may provide, or to simply observe the familiar rippling energy of the universe that only he can see.

while most may read Haro as aloof, clanmates attentive enough to his body language can see his careful movements and subdued flinches whenever an unwelcome gesture is directed towards him. clanmates have learned to approach him cautiously, giving him ample warning of their advance.

when Haro speaks, his voice is airy and light, if not a bit scratchy from disuse. he tends to stutter if he speaks for more than a few minutes at a time.

while he doesn't reveal much about his homeland, Haro is always happy to talk about his parents whenever they're brought up, a fond smile touching his features at whatever memories they conjure. he speaks particularly reverently of his mother, a supposedly powerful healer and the one to teach Haro to sense and harness his own energy, and that which flows around him.
