AlthalusXXXXXXXXXXXXWatcher Any and all shall be protected and cared for while under his wing. Althalus would like to claim that his search for a charge, for something or someone to protect, had ended well. But reality is never that kind. Starting off on the cool but pleasant breezes that the Windcaller tended to prefer, the silent dragon had wandered far and wide in his search. It had cost him his first mate, Sabriel, in the long run, her tiny body had been unable to cope with the drastic climate change that the ice fields had thrown at them. After a long and bitter fight, she left to give what aid she could to the Icewarden, telling her mate that she had felt the pull as soon as they'd crossed into his territory. It pinged a cord within him, and it took him a long time to come to terms with the fact that his search was over and... unique. Althalus would live a long and lonely life, never truly having a clan in the traditional sense. Dragons come and dragons go, and he protects and guides all on their path to the Icewarden. |
