Lhikan's duty is less a guard and more closely to a monitor. The giant pit that makes up Pyroclast's main hoard was open to everyone when the clan was new but the clans growing size ​and ridgebacks has led to mistakes. So Lhikan casually appointed himself as guard with Brokkr making it official. As a result no one is allowed to take anything from the hoard without notifying him first.

As someone who is constantly in the lair and knows everyone in Pyroclast he has become somewhat of the go to for new members. During less busier times and downtime he can be found telling and listening to tales from Lesovikk and Nimona with Cobblestone recording their conversations off to the side.


An Emberling whose family's curiosity got the better of them. Originally Emberlings, his family decided to take a swim in the Sea of a Thousand Currents causing them to lose their external temperature and cool into Cinderlings. (Supspecies)

Growing up Lhikan daydreamed of traveling to Fire's traveling marketplaces, that he had only heard of during his family's tedious wandering. There were much more exciting things to see! This, of course, meant learning to defend himself long enough to get to those marketplaces. When he was old enough he joined coliseum fighting and did well, joining a troupe of fighters. They became quite well known and were one day hired as protection for some traders.
Things didn't go well that day.
But that was years ago and the rippled Snapper walked away from the day with the knowledge that he could swallow and store lava and then breathe it onto to people. Dragons willing to fight him died down after that. And he surprisingly was able to travel and escort all sorts of dragonkind though Ashfall.

His time at the Pyroclast Outpost was not meant to be permanent. He was merely stopping by for a rest when the Outpost came under a surprise attack by Harpies while their main warriors were away. His lave breath and Lesovikks magic was crucial for defending Pyroclast until help arrived.
They needed help and had intriguing members and interesting stories, why not stay?
