3679.png 		The merchants of the clan often leave for weeks at a time, and what's a poor tailor to do when he's close to running out of fabric? Well, he never notices, for one, because Alkaios keeps close tabs on the contents of their stores and is quick to rush out and buy more whenever a particular bolt nears its end. He has a fine eye for quality and cost, and he never dallies at the markets he visits or spends too long haggling. He can't allow himself to delay Florian's progress, so he makes the rounds as fast as possible.

Florian doesn't appear to appreciate it, or notice Alkaios much at all, but Alkaios has gotten used to it. When Florian starts working on something, the world around him seems to disappear, only occasionally including the owners of his progressing outfits and sometimes the blacksmith, who he collaborates with. Well, Alkaios is a skilled observer and has picked up many a trick from watching Florian work, practicing on fabric scraps that are destined to be tossed away anyway. His silk attire is his craftman's pride so far, and one day he'll learn the secrets of the more complicated outfits.
