A very happy and easy-going dragon, Marucellus used to live in the water full-time. He would come up for air only when sleeping and when absolutely necessary. He is a Ridgeback dragon, who are stereotyped as being afraid of water, but Maru can’t stay out of it. He’s made his personal apartment just a fish tank, basically, with a perch for dragons who don’t enjoy it as much as he does. Marucell’s skin is not scaley but like a frog’s skin, amphibious.

67D0BvL.png He really likes aquatic mammals. He really, really likes them. He knows everything about every whale, dolphin, porpoise, and seal there is, and even had several magic art pieces of them commissioned by magic-practicing Water artists. These pieces move and interact with one another and dragons just like real animals do.
The only reason Maru doesn’t have real pet water mammals is because they take up too much room and wouldn’t fit in his pool. He takes trips to the ocean every once in a while for swims and interaction with the real animals.
Marucellus's nicknames include Maru and Marucell. He gets a bit of a temper if you call him anything else.
