Nefina was curious, like all hatchlings. She wondered what lay beyond the area the clan had claimed. So, one night, she slipped out when the others were occupied. She scurried into the woods, gazing in awe at the tall, gnarled trees. She strayed farther from the clan, deeper into the woods. She stopped when she heard a rustle. She turned towards it, then slowly crept forward. She called out in a tentative voice: "hello?"

The bushes rustled again, before a carmine serthis pounced from the bushes, clawing at the young dragon. Nefina yelped, and the serthis took the opportunity and slashed the small dragon's tongue out. Nefina clamped her mouth shut and ran back to her clan, where the other dragons immediately took her to the healer. They were able to stop the bleeding, but Nefina would never be able to speak again.

Nefina had a hard time growing up, not being able to traditionally communicate, but she made due. She found a mate, Serovi, who speaks for her, and she can communicate with him through a form of sign language. She and Serovi are inseparable, never leaving each other's side. Nefina is co-leader and shadow rep of the clan.

Nefina is kind, seeing the good in everyone. She wishes to befriend every single dragon in the clan. She also has the unfortunate tendency to forgive almost everyone, no matter what they did.
She is very sweet, helping anyone who needs it. The hatchlings describe her as the grandma of the clan, while hiding sparkly gems or shiny treasure behind their backs that they got from said "grandma."

- nefina and serovi are inseparable. they've got like high school sweethearts that have been married for years kinda thing going on
- will always find the good in others no matter how terrible they are. wants to befriend (or at least be on good terms with) everyone. she does unfortunately have a tendency to excuse others that do shady actions
- like serovi, nefina treats gambit like a daughter
- she brought ryze into the clan despite her mate's protests. she admired their whimsical demeanor and how shrewd they can be
- very sweet
- basically the nice grandma of the clan. idk
- she'd probably give out goodies to everyone in the clan and sneaks treasure or gems in younger dragons' claws
- dislikes fighting, prefers providing support. huge pacifist
- original colors: rose/sand/green, pink/maize/stonewash, (i can't remember what the last scatter was a before the current one but it was atrocious. i remember there being tomato and green in there)
- tried to cheer up serovi while the clan was spending time in the shifting expanse
