Biography
WHERE HAVE YOU COME FROM MY CHILD?
___________________
An elderly scientist with a penchant for moss, Starlight spends his time trying to get his claws on anything about new moss and fungi species that he cares for in his section of the lair. While it started out small, he has looped in multiple volunteers into helping him. He's extremely friendly and is always up for a conversation, but might talk your ears off.
He has severe epilepsy and cannot use the attacks natural to a fae dragon, nor can he witness other dragons' non-physical attacks. He prefers the soft light of mushrooms to read by and is also not fond of the coliseum for the same reason. The attacks of enemies are too much for him. This has been a question for why he ended up in the group of exaltees, but he's never said the reason behind it. He's been here for years and is still mum on the subject.
His book collection grew substantially during Christmas, and he settled down into teaching anyone in his vicinity at any time.
He got an ice tome in time for the first day of the '16 ice festival. The coatl Rocket is pretty well recognized as Starlight's charge now.
After six months, Rocket decided to go to a new home. They'll be having their own adventures from now on! 20144659
He's calmer after his years in shadow, and took to the move to nature with excitement. The shrieking wilds apparently are home to many mosses and fungis that he's never been in contact with, and he's studying the differences between here and what he's brought from his former home in shadow. How delightful!
_
He's made a good bit of headway studying the mosses and fungi in the shrieking wilds and has a large collection of various live samples he's taken. Don't try and eat anything in his room without permission and the go ahead, as they don't all make great snacks and could be toxic enough to give even a dragon horrific indigestion.
This last advice is usually said by him, as he's usually the one finding out the hard way whether or not something he has collected is edible or not.
He's generally a jovial and cheerful person to be around, but he might talk your ear off or recruit you to look for moss if you're not doing anything that day. Also not doing anything interesting also counts as not doing anything if he can manage to wheedle his way into getting you out with him. But it's always a good time; he brings snacks. ... sort of.
Untried items needing to be tested for science to be recorded for posterity are definitely snacks. And if they aren't, there are plenty of shrubs to duck behind if the test goes south and someone get sick.
