Eris, The Regretful Discord
Panicked - Dark - Malicous
”Most people make a choice. Kill or be killed. I think you know which I prefer."

Eris loves to cause trouble. She takes great pride in stirring up arguments and standing back to watch them spiral (pun intended) into a hurricane. Unfortunately, because of this Eris found herself slightly isolated, people avoided her in the hope they might avoid the disruption of harmony.

Eris became filled with anger and began to use this anger and hatred as a fuel to her rage. She would seek out nests of innocent beastclans and murder them all, mothers, fathers, grandparents, children. This pain started to overwhelm Eris, she couldn't sleep because the moment she shut her eyes the ghosts of lost beasts danced on her eyelids. And when she couldn't sleep she would hunt and kill. Sleepless nights and haunted days were her own nightmare, something she couldn't bear.

Eris was taken in by a cheerful spiral, she figured that this clan might help rejuvenate her sleep and stop the nightmares. Alas, her will went against in and she continued to fight. Unable to be at peace. Hecate followed Eris out one night and watched as she prepared to attack a family of harpies. She heard a hatchling harpy call for its mother. Hecate enjoyed killing beasties as much as any other dragon but she could not watch a harmless family be murdered. Hecate reached out and touched Eris' shoulder.

"That baby will be someone's familiar one day." Hecate whispered to Eris who looked up startled. "Store your anger inside until you can use it when it's really needed." She continued in hushed tones. "F*ck off, what do you know." Eris growled defensively. "We have more things in common than you know." Hecate replied. Eris, with tearful eyes, turned and left with Hecate, as the mother Harpy dashed to the baby's side.

The two returned home together and Eris looked back once. What she saw replaced the ghosts and demons in her dreams. A loving harpy mother, cooing her child to ease. A smile slowly grew on her face. Every night now before she goes to sleep she sees the baby harpy watching her and as she drifts off the harpy gives a slight wave before disappearing into the trees.
