Backstory

Long before she settled into the clan, Otrera was a wanderer. She left the Sunbeam Ruins as soon as she could, knowing that she could never learn all she wanted if she stayed rooted in one place. She wandered for years, learning everything she could along the way about fighting and the world. Her wit and agility kept her mostly out of harms way, although she picked up a few scars in her early days. Eventually, somewhere in the border between the Wandering Contagion and the Crystalspine Mountains, she ran into Karmanor, Boreas, and Apollo on one of their expeditions. At first, all she hoped for was a safe place to sleep and a hot meal, but the clan's way of life slowly drew her in. A home without being tied there, a place to learn and grow… it was all she ever wanted. She started going out on expeditions with Karmanor, and became the second in command as the Scouts grew. Mates were never something she became especially interested in, but she adopted a beautiful daughter Hippolyta, who she's loved to watch grow.
