______ When the young emiri hatched, Izarre immediately saw herself in her. While willenheist insisted she leave the lair, like most young do when they become ready, Emiri was hesitant and scared to leave but unlike Izarre, Emiri's father did not stick up for her. in face Fendrel very much did not want one of his offspring staying in the clan. he did not want nor wanted to even think about that kind of responsibility. However, where most hatchling's stories would end there Izarre couldn't bring herself to look in that little hatchling's eyes and walk away. her story was too similar to her own. she insisted that she take the little pearlcatcher under her wing and teach her as the clan's assistant alchemist. Emiri took on the role whole heartedly, eternally grateful to Izarre for giving her a place in the clan. with Emiri around, maybe there is finally one female who can keep Fendrel in line.

Emiri's main duty is to fetch different supplies and herbs for Izarre's brew. because she's small and nimble she can fly all over the island gathering supplies quickly. she can even go on trips outside the island and gather rare ingredients from other flights. This lets emiri explore and enjoy her life while Izarre can focus more on her craft and create even more potent potions.
